HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! :)
Hahaha I'm still in the mood of new year cause I'm awesome like that.
Finally met up with JeanNie and LeongChin last night! So happy! Didn't get to meet up with the rest but its okay, time will come for us to meet again! :)
Planning to visit JeanNie at Kampar!! :D Shall really make this a reality...weeeha!
JeanNie asked me to update my blog and now I'm so energised and motivated to write something on this space but I don't know what to blog about.....Egypt? Korea? Both are equally awesome so its really difficult to pick!
Nevermind. Today, I shall blog about my new favourite color.
Its....G R E E N!
I fell in love with GREEN on the last day in Korea. To be specific, on the 27th December 2010.
WHY?
Cause... I bought that green color long sleeve top in DongDaeMun (30 BUCKS ONLY DAMN CHEAP COZ ITS LONG SLEEVE AND QUALITY SUPER KAO GOOD) Errr okay back to my main point.. and... I wore it on the last day cause, well, I felt like it :D
and... IT SNOWED OK. IT SNOWEEEEEEDDDDDDDDD.
I mean, I've seen snow on the ground, snow on the mount. BUT, I've never seen FALLING snow before. On the last day in Korea, it finally snowed.
Hence, I've decided that my new favourite/lucky colour will be and shall be GREEN.
:D
Okay I shall blog about my Korea trip since I've already mentioned it above. Haha!
So...... On the first day. We landed at Incheon Airport. Stayed one night in Seoul :)
SMELLLLLL THE KOREAN AIR BAYBEHH :P
Visited the 63 Building, which is the tallest building in Korea (Was told by the tour guide)
Kissed my new found boyfriend which I dumped a few minutes later cause he refused to move. True story.
Made a glass/mug/cup out of ice.
They gave us a rectangular ice block, and we're supposed to make those like...errr.. A&W Mugs!
make 3 sides round-ish, and another side would be the handle!
Making the handle is tough cause if you exert too much force, it would then break off and you'd have no choice but to make a mug with no handle. (Refer to the person in the middle - cause she broke the handle :P)
Upon completion, you'll be asked to bring your handmade ice mug to the front and the person in charge will fill up the mug with orange juice! then you can drink from it! like what we did :)
It was a fun experience but, not my thing, really.
Then we went to Myeong Dong for some SHOPPING :D
Day 2 - Jeju Island (!!!)
We went to watch the Nanta Show :)
NANTA' is a non-verbal performance of free rhythmical movements that dramatize customary Korean percussions in a strikingly comedic stage show. Integrating unique Korean traditional drumbeats in a western performance style, NANTA storms into a huge kitchen where four capricious cooks are preparing a wedding banquet. While cooking, they turn all kinds of kitchen items - pots, pans, dishes, knives, chopping boards, water bottles, brooms and even each other- into percussion instruments.
oh btw do you like my boots?
I LOVE THEM.
Rachel got called on stage to try the SOUP they made! and eventually she got "married" to the guy standing beside her :P
Evie and myself had such a hard time trying to not laugh so much. LOLOLOL SUPER FUNNY LAH SERIOUSLY....
The next day, we went to the Korean Culture Experience Centre, where we learned how to make Kimchi and had a chance to wear the Hanbok :)
SELF TIMER FTW! :D
Kimchi om nom nom nom
..... To be continued :)
